Planned Activity Groups (PAG)

Planned Activity Group program is part of the Nillumbik Community Health Service (NCHS). We provide a planned and reliable service for our clients, with a focus on maintaining each client’s ability to live at home and/or within their community.

Aims of the Planned Activity Group program:

  • To provide a centre base program which offers the opportunity for socialisation for older people who are frail, socially isolated and those who have dementia to participate in recreational activates of their choice.

  • To offer an opportunity to prevent social isolation and to maintain client independence for young people (under 60) with an Acquired Brain Injury.

  • To provide recreational and socialisation activities for adults and teenagers with an intellectual disability (13-35 years of age).

  • To provide respite, support and information for carers.

  • To offer carers and clients of the NCHS access to empathic, caring and culturally appropriate Planned Activity Group program.
