Occupational Therapy
Services can provide:
- Advice
- Assessment
- Therapy
- Home/School programs
- Education for families and professionals
- Liaison with other agencies involved ( preschool, school, doctors, maternal
and child health nurse)
Paediatric Occupational Therapy provides
assessment & therapy service for children aged 0-17 years. Children may be
referred because of difficulties in one or more of the following areas:
- Self care, eg. Dressing, feeding, bathing, toileting.
- Fine motor skills, eg. cutting drawing.
- Gross motor skills, whole body movements, eg. Running, jumping, kicking
a ball.
- School skills, eg. Handwriting, concentrating, mixing with other children.
