Needle Exchange:

The underlying principle of the program is harm minimisation though an acceptance that people use illegal drugs. Our role is to ensure people use clean equipment to prevent the spread of HIV and Hep B & C infections. The service is operated in a relaxed, efficient and non judgmental manner.

Nillumbik Community Health Service offers a CONFIDENTIAL service providing free literature, needles and syringes, disposal containers, swabs and condoms.

Monday, 9:00am - 9:00pm
Tuesday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.

There is no need for an appointment, just ask for the duty worker.
